Shipping & Delivery

Orders are typically dispatched within 3-12 business days. Contact us directly for urgent delivery requests. All standard deliveries are made to the ground floor entrance of the delivery address. We deliver across the Perth metropolitan area. For regional Western Australia deliveries, please contact us for a quote.

If you require delivery to a specific floor or have unique site access requirements (e.g., building inductions), please notify us at checkout. Additional charges may apply. A futile delivery fee will be charged if delivery cannot be completed due to reasons within the customer’s control (e.g., inaccessible site, customer not present at the agreed time).

JK Hopkins is not liable for any damages caused by delivery delays resulting from unforeseen circumstances. We will provide an update within 24 hours if a significant delay is expected.

 

Assembly & Installation

Some products are shipped flat-packed with easy-to-follow assembly instructions to ensure safe transit. A professional assembly service, including rubbish removal, is available for an additional fee. This can be selected on the product page before adding it to the shopping cart.

All prices for delivery and installation assume the site is fully prepared. The installation area must be clear of existing furniture and other obstacles. If our team is unable to proceed with a scheduled installation due to the site not being ready, we’ll try again on separate date based our availability. However, we will charge for another delivery fee and an additional restocking fee of 20%.

 

Returns Policy

Goods may be returned within 7 days of the invoice date. Returns are accepted if goods are damaged, wrongly supplied, defective, or do not match the order specifications.

Change of Mind:

  • Returns for “change of mind” are at the discretion of JK Hopkins.
  • A restocking fee of 20% of the invoice value will apply.
  • The customer is responsible for all return freight costs.
  • Goods must be returned in their original, unassembled condition and in their original packaging with all instruction materials included.

Non-Returnable Items:

  • Assembled furniture cannot be returned.
  • Custom-made or specially ordered items or supplier stock items are non-returnable.

 

Damaged, Faulty, or Incorrect Items

When receiving your delivery, it’s a good idea to check everything thoroughly.

If there are any issues such as damage, faults, or incorrect items, please let the delivery guys know before you sign the delivery docket. They will arrange for a replacement or other suitable alternative.  If the delivery guys have already left, please contact us straight away so we can help you.

We are not responsible if you choose to assemble the items yourself and cause any damage to the provided items.

Email our customer service team with your invoice number, a description of the issue, and photographic evidence. For approved claims, we will repair, replace, or swap parts to remedy the issue at our discretion.

 

Warranty

All goods are covered by a commercial warranty against defects in materials and workmanship. The warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, misuse, neglect, accidental damage, or use for an unintended purpose.

Warranties extend only to the original purchaser and are non-transferable. All warranty claims must be accompanied by proof of purchase. We may require the product to be made available for inspection.

 

General Conditions

Cancellations are only accepted for in-stock items prior to the delivery date. Cancellations are not accepted for custom or specially ordered goods or supplier stock items.

Legal and beneficial ownership of goods does not pass to the customer until the items have been paid for in full. Customers are responsible for inspecting all goods upon delivery.
